I was so glad that my daughter and her generation had a room full of entrepreneurial role models!
Walking through the vendor market, I saw a t-shirt that said “I am my ancestors hopes and dreams.” I immediately started to cry. I thought about how my grandmother and mother never had the opportunity to attend an event like this or could even dream of owning their own businesses. I also had my daughter with me–something I would encourage others to do for next year!
I didn’t even know how important this conference would be to me!
